Botox has been used safely and successfully in ophthalmology for over 20 years and for over 16 years in dermatology. No long term side effects have been attributed to the use of Botox. Short term side effects are minimal. Temporary bruising localized at the area of injection can occur. This can be covered with make-up. Headaches sometimes occur that can be relieved with Paracetamol. When injecting around the eyes, upper eyelid drooping is a risk, but also very uncommon. The effect on the eyelid resolves in days to weeks, but can be quickly improved with Iopidine eyedrops.
Botox is a procedure done without anesthesia. The procedure takes only few minutes to complete. In this, Botox is injected with a fine needle on the specific muscles to make the wrinkles relax and soften.
Anti-wrinkle injectables are made from a drug made called Botulinum Toxin which has been FDA approved and used for both medical and cosmetic purposes for over 20 years with no known adverse effects. Like most cosmetic treatments, side effects can occur, some clients report mild bruising whilst very occasionally- approximately 1-3% - experience a 'droopy eyelid' both however can be corrected or will fade in time. To reduce the risk of complications it is important that anti-wrinkle injectable are administered by highly qualified practitioners in a safe and medical environment.
Anti-wrinkles injectable are mainly used for the face. Forehead wrinkles, crow's feet lines around the eyes, and the "11 lines" between the eyebrows are the most popular areas however other uses include lifting eyebrows, decreasing the "orange peel" appearance of the chin and lifting the corners of the mouth.
Fillers are popular treatments used for softening wrinkles, laughter lines, facial lines and wrinkles caused naturally by ageing or sun exposure. Combined with a local anaesthetic, dermal fillers are injected into the skin to give your face a natural volume, leaving your skin completely hydrated and youthful.
Popular areas to add volume and fullness to include the lips, cheeks and bridge of the nose. For smoothing and plumping lines and wrinkles, popular treatment areas include around the forehead, eyes, mouth, chin, neck, decolletage and hands.
Unlike traditional procedures, such as surgical face lifts or implants, this treatment requires no cuts, incisions or stitches. It may involve some light pain or discomfort. Clients describe it as a tiny scratch as the needle goes in, with a slight stinging sensation as the filler is applied. For those feeling anxious, we can use a local anaesthetic to numb the area completely. Afterwards there may be some swelling or bruising. The swelling fades within 48 hour; the bruising can take up to a fortnight.
Skin peel treatments make use of acids and enzymes to exfoliate away layers of the skin to reveal fresher, clearer, more youthful looking skin beneath the surface. Resurfacers are a milder type of skin peel and are sometimes referred to as ‘superficial exfoliating treatments’. They harness the power of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients to deeply exfoliate and brighten the skin.
The powerful blend of ingredients in skin peels work to visibly reduce the appearance of open pores, remove dead skin cells, target blemishes, acne and pigmentation, and visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
The procedure is used all over the world to treat skin conditions such as fine line and wrinkles, acne, hyper-pigmentation and sun damage - the results can be life-transforming.
Expected results from chemical peel:
All skin peel treatments require a one-to-one consultation with a skin practitioner. They will carry out a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to ensure the treatment is suitable for your specific skin type and needs.
Fat Grafting is a good procedure in facial Rejuvenation planning. It is a versatile procedure where fat from the other parts are transferred to Rejuvenate the looks and are used at many places like Breast Augmentation, Buttock Augmentation, scars coverage.
The benefits of Fat Grafting via injection are well established; these include correcting facial imperfections and adding volume with a non-Allergenic, Autologous material (i.e. from the patient's own body). It can be used as fillers to increase facial volume Aesthetics.
Fat transfer aims to rejuvenate the face by enhancing the volume, altering the contours and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. It helps to restore the fullness of the facial tissues that is lost with aging. It has also been shown to improve the quality of the skin and the texture of the skin.
Facial rejuvenation with fat transfer is used commonly in areas such as the cheeks, lips, eyelids, temples and for wrinkles around the mouth (Marionette lines, Nasolabial lines). The Fat is taken from any areas on your body where you have extra fat.
The most common areas for taking the fat are the abdomen, thighs and love handles. The fat is used as natural filler. It is donated from your body and transferred back into your body so there is no risk of disease Transmission or Rejection.
Radiofrequency (RF) energy treatment is technology for non-surgical tightening of the early signs of loose or sagging skin; ideal for those people who either don’t want, or don’t believe they are old enough to have a surgical procedure. Pure RF energy alone is primarily used to treat skin laxity by facial tightening, and is best suited to patients with mild to moderate sagging of facial tissues, usually those in their mid-30s to 50s, with any skin colour. It is commonly used to treat the forehead, under the eyes, cheeks, mid-face, jaw line, and neck. Based on current RF technologies, most people should see at least a mild improvement in their skin tightness, with minimal risks and downtime compared to surgery. With quick, comfortable treatment, zero downtime, and no scars, non-surgical skin tightening has become a popular way for patients to enhance their appearance and self-confidence without taking time for surgery and recovery.
Fractional RF Microneedle (FRM)
The procedure involves penetration of insulated microneedles into the dermis to deliver high-tensioned radiofrequency pulse into the targeted tissue. This results in the body’s own production of elastin and collagen fibres, making skin firmer and healthier. Our machine – RF combines with the microneedling, so the RF heat is not on the outside layer of the skin, it penetrates much deeper, leaving the top skin layer cool. The microneedles are driven directly into the skin at a certain depth, and radiofrequency energy is then released inside of the skin. This gives a more uniformed deep tissue warming that will then stimulate the collagen and new collagen fibers are produced. The needle tip contains 25 very small gold needles acting as an internal conductor. The face is numbed for 40 minutes before starting. The whole face would take approximately 20-30 minutes to do depending on the area and pain threshold. Immediately after the procedure, the face is warm, red and swollen. After 4 days the needle marks will disappear, and your face will start to feel tighter and more lifted. After a few treatments you will see a noticeable difference, it will help both with wrinkles, skin tightening, rejuvenation, reduce pore size etc. The combination of microneedles and radiofrequency leads to a more substantial improvement in skin quality and texture. This combination also allows the procedure to treat a variety of concerns such as skin tightening and brightening, pore size reduction and stretch marks. It is also effective in scar treatment such as deep acne scars, ice pick scars, atrophic scars, burn and operation scars.
The Benefits
How it works
Post Treatment Care
Mild redness and swelling may occur a few hours and up to 24 hours after treatment. Massage and excessive sun exposure should be avoided at this time. More aggressive treatments may result in skin flaking as the new skin layer regenerates. Moisturisers and broad spectrum sunscreens are highly recommended during this recovery phase.
What To Expect
Once RF energy is penetrated into the dermis, target tissue in dermis processes to regenerate the skin. For best results on deep wrinkle folds and acne scars, a combination treatment of micro needling and Fractional laser serves to flatten uneven skin.
RF Micro Needling is usually one step in a multi-therapy acne scar treatment plan. For patients with deeply sunken-in scars (Box car and Ice Pick scar types), elevation of these deep scars usually occurs prior to RF Micro Needling, which will help to put the finishing touches on skin texture and smoothness. Pigmented scars are also typically treated with laser therapy prior to RF Micro Needling. RF Micro Needling works to smooth out the acne scars that plague so many people by stimulating new collagen and elastin in the deep layers of the skin, while bypassing the most superficial layer which is most prone to side effects and prolonged downtime. Before RF Micro Needling, many treatments were provided with aggressive lasers or deep chemical peels that patients found difficult to fit into their busy lifestyle. Furthermore, many of these devices were not safe for patients with darker skin. Secret RF Microneedling is the latest anti-aging technology that safely and effectively returns your skin to a more youthful and radiant state. RF Microneedling is one of the most effective skin-tightening treatments to improve fine lines and wrinkles, especially around the eyes, mouth and cheeks. RF Microneedling also reduces pore size, acne scars and stretch marks.
Benefits Of Secret RF Microneedling Procedure
What Are the Differences and Advantages between Secret RF Micro needling Device And Other RF Micro needling Devices?
The secret of Secret RF is the perfectly spaced, conductive microneedles, which safely emit high energy radiofrequency waves between the microneedles to target deeper layers of the skin while sparing the skin’s surface. Because Secret RF microneedle tips have sufficient spaces between the needles, it minimizes side effects that can be caused by overheating, during high frequency treatments. Secret RF is also far less painful than other RF Micro needling devices.
What Skin Conditions Can Be Treated With Secret RF Micro needling?
RF Micro needling addresses the following issues:
How Many Secret RF Treatments Are Recommended?
Most patients will see significant results with a series of 3 treatments, spaced about three to four weeks apart. The number of treatments will depend on how well the patient responds to the treatment and the severity of their skin issues.
Who Can Benefit From Secret RF Micro needling?
Secret RF is a very safe treatment that can be performed on the face and body for almost all skin types. Side effects are uncommon.
What Is Recommended Before My Treatment?
Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths and airbrush tans 1-2 weeks prior. Avoid taking blood thinners (i.e. aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil) for at least 10 days prior. Taking arnica Montana tablets the day before your treatment and for one week after will help speed recovery.
How Is the RF Micro needling Procedure Performed?
After thoroughly cleansing your skin, we apply a strong topical numbing ointment to the treatment area to make you as comfortable as possible. After 45 minutes of topical numbing, the treatment takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
RF Micro needling has the potential to create pinpoint bleeding due to the microneedles and the depth of the skin being treated. However, bleeding is minimal and resolves immediately without any additional side effects or required action. We apply a cool, soothing peptide mask to your skin following the treatment. An advantage of using RF to heat tissues, as opposed to lasers (which use higher-frequency light waves), is that the lower frequency of RF can safely penetrate to a deeper level, helping to improve skin tone and structure, even lifting tissues. Lasers for the most part work to improve the skin’s surface. Moreover, RF can safely treat more patients with different skin tones without risking permanent discoloration. Of course, the safety and efficacy of non-surgical RF or any treatment depends on the experience and skill of the person providing that treatment (more on that later).
